Course Summary:

This course enables you to study basic methods and techniques of modern aquaculture farming. To learn how to maximize production and basic principles of nutrition and biosecurity.

• Aquaculture in Israel.
• Aquaculture view from Gilboa escarpment to the Bet-Shean valley or Mishmar- hashsaron fish farm (for K. Silver).
• Visiting a fish farm emphasizing growing methods and equipment.
• Pond construction.  
• Introduction to fish diseases.   
• Diagnosis and treatments.
